Examples
Each example is a chant project beside a Pulumi program in infra/, with a
checked-in stack-export.json, so the graph builds without Pulumi installed.
chant dev check-lexicon lexicons/pulumi builds all three, and
examples/examples.test.ts holds what each one reads.
| Example | Shows |
|---|---|
workspace-member | a Pulumi YAML program declared as a member of kind pulumi, and its export read into the project’s own build |
scheduled-watch | the same member with src/watch.op.ts, a PulumiWatchOp that previews it and reads its drift every morning |
plunge-member | the program on a plunge+file:// backend, so every read runs under plunge, with a watch that sets no engine |
All three read the same two resources, a bucket and its versioning, with an edge from the versioning to the bucket, and none of them triggers a build check.
workspace-member
Section titled “workspace-member”chant.workspace.json pins @intentius/chant-lexicon-pulumi and declares
infra as a member. chant.config.ts sets pulumi.member so chant build
and chant lint run the lexicon’s checks against the export. src/ declares
nothing. Getting Started builds this layout step by
step.
scheduled-watch
Section titled “scheduled-watch”src/watch.op.ts is the Op from Watching a member. Its steps
are validated against the activities’ contracts when the example builds. Run
it once with chant run infra-watch --no-record, given a selected dev
stack and its credentials.
plunge-member
Section titled “plunge-member”infra/Pulumi.yaml names plunge+file://./.plunge-state, and nothing else
in the project mentions plunge. That URL is what moves the preview, outputs
and drift to plunge; see A member on plunge.
