Project templates
llms.txt lists every page for an agent
chant init --lexicon pulumi writes a chant project that reads an existing
Pulumi program. No template writes a Pulumi program: the lexicon declares no
resource types, and the program stays the source of truth. Each template
expects the program in ./infra, the directory that holds Pulumi.yaml and
the checked-in stack-export.json. Change dir in chant.config.ts if yours
is elsewhere.
| Template | Writes | For |
|---|---|---|
| default | chant.config.ts with pulumi.member, and src/infra.ts, which declares nothing | reading the member’s graph into the project’s build, so the build checks run against its export |
watch | the default’s files and src/watch.op.ts, a PulumiWatchOp on a 06:00 cron | previewing the member and reading its drift every morning |
plunge | the watch files, with engine: "plunge" on the member and on the Op | the same watch for a member on plunge |
npx chant init --lexicon pulumi --template watch--template also records the template in the project’s template lock, as
for any lexicon. The scheduled-watch and plunge-member
examples are the finished forms of the watch and plunge
templates, with a program in infra/.
